Silver salt cellars, J. van Wijk, Amsterdam, 1831

Early 19th century salt cellars made by the silversmith J. van Wijk from Amsterdam. He was active from 1819 to 1846.

The salt cellars are made of cut crystal on a solid silver base. with 4 ball feet.

The silver is hallmarked with the second fineness hallmark, master hallmark IVW+, Minerva head and date letter W for 1831.

The crystal has a few chips.
