Cap rings are typical of Zeeland and were worn as part of the costume. From the 17th century, the cap ring was mainly worn on Sundays and holidays. The Zeeland cap ring also functions as a wedding ring.

This cap ring was made by Ceesanne from Middelburg, active since 1969.
