Silver Zeeland pair, 1875

Large Zeeland pare knife with a representation of a garden scene on the handle. The status of the wearer was measured by the knife he carried. This knife therefore indicated a high status because of its length of 43 cm.

The knife has been tested with the ^2nd grade mark and date letter q for 1875.

As a crowning achievement, a dog that symbolizes loyalty.

The steel blade is a bit loose from the handle (see photo) and should really be reattached. The steel blade was also added later and therefore the knife can still be used today.

The knife has a length of: 43 cm and a weight of: 214 grams.
