Antique silver handle, hallmarked with the city hallmark of Middelburg and date letter L, used between 1776 and 1778. The master hallmark is illegible.
The fork was added later and made by silversmith Jan Cornelius Roggenkamp from Appingedam, active from 1831 to 1876.
The fork is marked with master mark R3, second fineness mark, Minerva head and date letter a for 1860.
On the back of the handle are the initials of the previous owner AW.
