18th- century silver fork. Hallmarked with the maker's mark; a heart with two arrows for Michiel Boldijn, who worked in Amsterdam from 1721 to 1770. The Boldijn family also called themselves Bolt and Bolten.

The fork is hallmarked with the city hallmark of Amsterdam with the date letter U for 1754, and a tax hallmark has also been stamped on the fork.

The silver handle depicts Abraham's sacrifice on one side and Daniel in the lion's den on the other. A small dog crowns it, as a sign of faithfulness.

The fork has a dotted engraving MFH.
