18th century silver fork. Marked with the maker's mark; heart with two arrows for Michiel Boldijn, who worked in Amsterdam from 1721-1770. The Boldijn family also calls themselves Bolt and Bolten. Also hallmarked with the Amsterdam city hallmark with year letter U for 1754.
Finally, a tax assessment was rejected on the fork.
The silver hilt depicts Abraham's sacrifice on one side and Daniel in the lion's den on the other. As a crowning achievement, a dog, as a sign of loyalty.
