Rare silver fork by silversmith Anthonie Janse (De Bree, 256) from Middelburg. Made in 1790.

Silver from Middelburg is no longer common due to the large compulsory surrender campaign during the Batavian Republic (1795)

The fork (especially the tines) are in used condition.

Hallmarked with the city hallmark of Middelburg including the date letter of 1790 and master hallmark.
