Silver purse handle (parrots), J. Labberton, Schoonhoven, 1798

Velvet bag with silver parrot clasp, made in Schoonhoven by the silversmith J. Labberton in 1798. He was active from 1791 to 1811.

The bag handle features parrots with a flower in the center under the button.

The bracket is hallmarked with the city hallmark of Schoonhoven, master hallmark IL and date letter E for 1798.

The bracket bag is in good condition.
