Silver purse clasp, D. van Hensboom, Zwolle, 1727

Cast silver purse with a representation of putti made by the silversmith Dionisius van Hensboom from Zwolle. Active from 1713 to 1759. It is known that he lived in the Voorstraat in 1748 and that he was buried in the Michaëlskerk.

The bracket is provided with a sturdy silver jasseron chain and opens and closes by means of the head at the front of the bracket. The back of the bracket is smooth. This was done deliberately because this side of the bracket was not visible.

Approved with the master mark of a tree, city mark Zwolle RD and date letter M for 1727.
