Silver purse clasp, C. Murk, Schoonhoven (?), 19th century

^19th Century silver clasp bag with bag hook, possibly by the silversmith C. Murk from Schoonhoven. This silversmith was active from 1882 to 1897.

The silver bracket is cast and therefore heavy and solid. A chain is attached to the bracket. The red bag is also still in good condition (1 hole). On the hook is a mythological representation.

The bracket and bag hook are provided with various pseudo-marks to give the impression that it was an 18th century bag bracket. Also marked with CW (?) as master mark, Minerva head M for Schoonhoven and second content mark.
