Silver bag bracket, A. de Groot-Boersma / Sneek, 19th century.

^19th Century Frisian bow bag with bag hook by the silversmith A. de Groot-Boersma from Sneek. This silversmith worked from 1875 to 1909.

The silver bracket has putti's. The Frisian coat of arms is depicted on the closing button and the bag hook shows Joseph and Mary with the baby Jesus fleeing to Egypt.

The silver bracket has two compartments and is divided with an extra silver bracket.

The bracket and bag hook have various pseudomarks to give the impression that it was an 18th century bag bracket. Also marked with AB34 as master mark and year letter h for 1892.
