Silver tobacco box, C. Monteban, Schoonhoven, 1869

Silver tobacco box made by the silversmith C. Monteban from Schoonhoven. Active from 1843 to 1880.

The tobacco box is marked with master mark M78, second fineness mark, year letter k for 1866 and the Minerva head.

The name GE Hatema 1875 is engraved on the front of the tobacco box.

On the left back the tobacco box has a small damage. (see photo)
