Silver tobacco box, B. Meijer / Schoonhoven, Middelburg, 19th century

Silver tobacco box made by Bastiaan Meijer from Schoonhoven. Worked from 1850 to 1860 in Schoonhoven and then until 1900 in Middelburg.

The tobacco box is marked with master mark BM90, second quality mark, year letter d for 1863 and Minerva head.

A farm is engraved on the front of the tobacco box.

The tobacco box has minor damage to the front. (a small tear to the right of the middle)

Weight: 121.1 grams. Dimensions: 2 x 8 x 13 cm.
