Silver tobacco box, A. Mopman, Schoonhoven, 1830

Silver tobacco box in ribbed decoration, made by the silversmith A. Mopman from Schoonhoven. He was active from 1819 to 1837.

The tobacco box is hallmarked with master hallmark AM, second fineness hallmark, Minerva head and date letter V for 1830.

On the inside is an inscription: P. Groot Cz.

The tobacco box has some signs of use (dents)
