18thCentury silver sugar spoon with an openwork bowl. Made by the silversmith Adrianus Koekebakker from Amsterdam. He worked from 1791 to 1811 and was mainly specialized in small work, such as loderein boxes, salt cellars and scoops. As a former master of Haarlem he worked in Amsterdam from 1789.
The sugar sprinkling spoon has an ebony handle.
Hallmarked with the master mark KB, city mark of Amsterdam, date letter V for 1804 and crowned o.
The tub has early restoration traces.
Weight: 34.7 grams. Length 17 cm. Diameter of the bowl: 8 cm.
