Silver sprinkling spoon with an openwork bowl, made by Albertus Friese from Winschoten. He worked from around 1730 to around 1750. In 1749, he was a witness at a wedding in Winschoten.

The spoon has a dragon head at the bottom of the handle and was used to sprinkle sugar.

The spoon is marked with the master's mark AF. In Groningen JP van Rijen's mark is shown on p. 276-4, with the description: "monogram AF in oval".

The initials ROW are engraved on the back.

In beautiful condition.
