Are you looking for an elegant and finely decorated piece of Amsterdam antique silver?
This refined antique silver sugar scoop (also excellent for use as a tea scoop) is a magnificent example of high-quality silverware from the Biedermeier period. The piece was crafted by the well-known Amsterdam master silversmith Thomas Lodewijk Uriot.
The scoop excels in its graceful design: the deep, characteristically shaped bowl has raised, wavy edges and is decorated on the inside of the tip with a subtle, finely punched floral engraving. The wide handle features an opulent, handmade engraving on both the front and back with refined dot work, floral motifs, and graceful contour lines. This masterpiece dates exactly from the year 1867 and is in excellent antique condition with four razor-sharp, deeply struck silver hallmarks on the back of the handle.
