Are you looking for an early and exceptionally richly decorated piece of Dutch antique silver?
This refined antique silver sugar scoop (also perfectly suitable as a tea scoop), crafted by the well-known master silversmith Antonie Kuijlenburg in Schoonhoven, is a magnificent collector's item with a very elegant appearance.
This early specimen immediately stands out due to its striking design and high-quality finish. The wide, bell-shaped bowl features a beautiful, hand-engraved floral design of a bouquet of flowers and is bordered by a sophisticated, finely chased wavy edge. The bowl is connected to the handle via a gracefully curved, chased intermediate stem. The handle itself is also adorned with a rich floral engraving that harmonizes perfectly with the bowl. The object dates exactly to the year 1863 and is in excellent antique condition with four deeply struck silver hallmarks.
