Are you looking for a rare and early piece of Amsterdam antique silver?
This refined antique silver sugar shovel (also excellently suited as a tea scoop), crafted by the well-known master silversmith Johannes Hendrikus Tarner, is a top piece for the serious collector.
The scoop reflects the pure elegance of the early Biedermeier period. The wide, sleekly designed bowl transitions into a beautifully shaped and lavishly decorated handle. The front of the handle features a refined, hand-engraved design with graceful floral motifs and scrolls. This specimen dates exactly to the year 1853 and is in excellent antique condition. On the back, there are four razor-sharp, deeply struck, and perfectly legible silver hallmarks.
