Silver sprinkling spoon Van Kempen & Zn – 1919, round fillet

Heavy and beautifully made silver sprinkling spoon , made by the renowned JM van Kempen & Zn company from Voorschoten , active from 1858 to 1924. This company is one of the most important Dutch silversmiths and is known for its high-quality silverware.

The spoon is made in the classic round-filet style and has a generous, round bowl. The piece is richly hallmarked with the VK maker's mark with half-moon , the Minerva head , the second fineness mark (835/1000) , and the date letter J for 1919 , confirming its authenticity and dating.

At 60.8 grams , this is a particularly heavy and solid piece. The spoon is approximately 18 cm long and the bowl has a diameter of approximately 5.7 cm , making it both functional and decoratively appealing.
