Large silver Dutch smooth soup spoon made by the master smith Jan Anthonius de Haas from Amsterdam. He worked from 1796 to 1835 in the Laurierdwarsstraat.
The round bowl of the spoon is hand-hammered. The handle has various silver hallmarks: City hallmark Amsterdam, master hallmark Haas, tax hallmarks O and standing lion, hatchet and date letter T for 1802.
The spoon is in good used condition with small dents in the bowl.
The spoon weighs: 170.3 grams and has a length of 34.5 cm.
