Silver snuff box, made by the silversmith Cornelis van Hoek from Amsterdam. Active from 1786 to 1813. He was a small worker and specialized in boxes and needle cases.
The snuff box is hallmarked with the master hallmark CH, the city hallmark of Amsterdam and the date letter T for 1802. (stamped on the bottom on the inside)
The snuffbox features an allegorical representation.
