2 Antique silver shoe buckles made by Barend de Vries II from Amsterdam. He was active from 1799 to 1803. (196, KA Citroen) He married Cornelia Steenwinkel in 1799.
The buckles are hallmarked with various marks, master mark DV, crowned O, re-hallmark Z11 for 2nd grade silver and tax mark v. Both buckles bear 6 or 7 silver hallmarks.
