Silver sardine tongs, W. and Middendo Brick, Rotterdam, 1861

Silver sardine tongs made by the firm W. and Middendo Baksteen from Rotterdam. Active from 1860 to 1870.

The pliers are hallmarked with the 2nd grade hallmark, master hallmark B&M star, Minerva head and date letter b for 1861.

A fish is engraved on the pliers.
