Silver cream spoon made by the silversmith Roelof Snoek from Leeuwarden. (Foot B168) He lived from 1747 to 1817 and became a master blacksmith in 1772.
The spoon is beautifully decorated with a shield and a cross-shaped decoration on the handle. A swan or goose is placed at the crown of the stem. The container itself is richly decorated with the image of a human figure with a sheaf and a sickle.
The spoon has been hallmarked with the RS master mark. There is a stipple engraving on the back of the stem.
