Silver cream spoon, HW van Giffen, Groningen, 18th century

Silver cream spoon made in the 18th ^century by the silversmith Hendrik Willem van Giffen from Groningen, who worked from 1794 to 1811.  

Marked with maker's mark LVG in contour.

The cream spoon is crowned with a swan. Also in the tank is a swan depicted above a basket of fruit.

Weight: 17.4 grams. Length: 12.5 cm.
