Large silver cream spoon made by silversmith Carl Gustav Hauffe from Riga. Active from 1807 to 1846.
Carl Gustav Hauffe was born in Allazi and learned the trade from Johann Friedrich Dorsch. In 1807 he was admitted as a master. From 1825 he was chairman of the silver guild in the city.
The spoon has been approved with the master mark CGH and the tax mark dolphin.
The handle of the spoon is beautifully decorated with a sunflower. A hook is attached to the back.
