Antique silver pipe brazier made by silversmith Nanno Folmer from Groningen. Active from 1841 to 1867. Well-known silversmith who made, among other things, the collection boxes and bread dishes of the Martinikerk that are exhibited in the Groninger Museum.
The stove is hallmarked with the second grade hallmark, Minerva head, year letter N for 1847 and master hallmark NF4
The brazier stands on an ebony base with ball feet and has a copper inner bowl.
The pipe stove is in excellent condition.
