Silver pipe stove, J. Hoffen / Breda (?), 1847

Silver pipe brazier in a round shape. The pipe brazier has a copper inner bowl and stands on an ebony base with bone knobs.

The edge is beautifully engraved in Biedermeier style and has restoration marks. The pipe brazier has been hallmarked with the second grade hallmark, minerva head and year letter N for 1847.

This pipe brazier has also been inspected with the master's mark of probably J. Hoffen from Breda. Active from 1822-1865
