Antique silver pipe stove made by the silversmith H. van Assen from Leeuwarden. He was active between 1830 and 1875.
The stove is hallmarked with the second grade hallmark, Minerva head, date letter V for 1855 and master hallmark VA.
The stove stands on an ebony base with ball feet and has a copper inner bowl.
The pipe stove is in used condition with traces of repair and some dents. See also the photos.
