Silver pipe stove, Amsterdam? 18th century?

Silver pipe stove in a round shape. The pipe stove has a copper inner bowl and stands on 3 legs.

The pipe stove has beautifully engraved flowers on both the inside and outside.

The stove has been inspected with the tax mark J. This mark stands for unguaranteed, old and domestic and was used from 1906 to 1953.

This pipe stove is also marked with an unclear master mark in a rectangle, a difficult to decipher city mark of Amsterdam and another illegible mark.

It is possible that the hallmarks have been deliberately faded to give the pipe stove an older appearance. See the photos to form your own opinion.

The copper container is engraved with the following: 'For Floris from Piet 1908 January 1, 1948.

The stove comes from the contents of a mansion on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam.
