Silver peppermint box, J. van Geelen, Schoonhoven, 1869

Silver peppermint or pill box with a beautiful decoration on both the lid and the bottom.

The box was made by the silversmith J. van Geelen from Schoonhoven. He was active from 1868 to 1889.

Marked with master mark G13, second fineness mark, date letter K of 1869 and Minerva head.

Weight: 19.3 grams. Diameter: 4cm.
