Silver peppermint box, C. van Dam Kooijman, Schoonhoven, 1829

Silver peppermint box made by the silversmith Cornelis van Dam Kooijman from Schoonhoven. Active from 1816 to 1837.

The box has a beautiful decoration on both the lid and the bottom.

Marked with master mark VDK, second fineness mark, year letter U of 1829 and Minerva head.

Weight: 21.2 grams. Dimensions: 1.5 x 4.7 cm.
