Marked with first quality mark, master mark WGJL, city mark London and year letter d for 1899.
The fork most likely served in the canteen of the officers of the 4th Royal Irish Dragoon Guards regiment (rich history, see also Wikipedia) and is provided with their coat of arms and engraved with the text Royal Irish.
