Silver needle case in Empire style, made by the silversmith Allert Wijngaarden from Leeuwarden (Voet B 105). This silversmith worked from 1748.
The needle case is provided with a clamp lid that slides up and down along the chain. The needle case has a motif of leaves and flowers on both the top and bottom. The silver clamp piece with eye is also provided with a beautiful engraving.
Approved with the bunch of grapes as master mark.
The tube is part of a chatelaine that was worn with Frisian costume.
In excellent condition.
