Rare 18th-century silver miniature coffee pot, crafted by the Amsterdam silversmith Pieter van Somerwil I. Van Somerwil was active between 1706 and 1753 and was known as a "kleinwerker" (small-worker), specializing in so-called "poppengoed" (doll's ware): finely crafted silver miniatures.

This charming silver coffee pot features a removable lid and bears the maker's mark with a tree of Pieter van Somerwil I, as well as the city mark of Amsterdam. Additionally, the pot is hallmarked with the year letter B for 1736.

The object is a beautiful example of Dutch silver from the early 18th century and is highly suitable for collectors of antique silver, miniatures, doll's ware, or Dutch silverware.
