Silver miniature fireplace tongs with twisted handle.

The fireplace tongs are hallmarked with the city hallmark of Amsterdam, the year letter I for 1743 or 1768 and the master hallmark horn, which belongs to the silversmith Arnoldus van Geffen, who worked from 1728 to 1769.

The pliers hinge well.
