Rare 18th-century silver miniature of a goat cart or coach pulled by a goat, made by the Amsterdam silversmith Pieter van Somerwil I. Van Somerwil was active between 1706 and 1753 and was known as a small-worker, specializing in so-called doll's goods: finely crafted silver miniatures.

This finely crafted miniature bears the maker's mark 'tree' of Pieter van Somerwil I, as well as the city mark of Amsterdam and year letter F for 1740.

The object is a beautiful example of Dutch silver from the early 18th century and is highly suitable for collectors of antique silver, miniatures, doll's goods, or Dutch silverware.
