Beautiful knife from the second half of the 17th century with an original iron blade marked with Offkman set in a heavy silver cast handle of Lady Justice (woman with sword and scales).
The knife handle is uninspected, which was common in that period. Most knives were made in Amsterdam at the time. Similar knife found in Klaus Marquardt's book Eight Centuries of European Knives, Forks and Spoons (p. 107, image 330).
