Silver knife handle with blade, BW van Eldik, Zutphen, ca. 1925

Cast knife handle with a lion holding a shield, made by the firm B. W van Eldik & AF van der Scheer also known as Hollandia Zilversmeden, Zutphen. The hallmark was used between 1917 and 1950.

The knife handle is heavy and solid and in excellent condition. The knife handle is hallmarked with master hallmark BWE in oval and the sword for 2nd grade silver.

The steel blade is approved by Engelenwerk Solingen and is original.

There is 4 mm of clearance between the handle and the blade.
