Silver knife with pistol handle, 18th century,

^18th century silver knife handle with original steel blade. The blade bears the initials: BKWMST T.

It is not often that the initials are set in the blade, this is usually done in silver.

The knife has a pistol handle with floral decoration and C volutes in the Louis ^15th style. Probably from the Netherlands given the style, but the marking is unclear. (Possibly Leiden city hallmark)

In very nice condition with a beautiful patina.

Length of the knife is: 24 cm. Weight: 108.6 grams.
