Silver manicure set in original case, ES Barnsley & Co, Birmingham, 1906

Vintage sterling silver manicure set in original case with green velvet.

The set consists of a glass jar with silver lid, nail file with silver handle, nail buffer in silver encased and stainless steel scissors.

Everything, except the scissors, has been marked with the master mark ESB from ES Barnsley & Co Ltd from Birmingham. He was active from 1887. Furthermore hallmarked with the walking lion for sterling silver, city hallmark anchor for Birmingham and year letter K for 1906.

Dimensions of the cassette are: 12 x 18.5 x 6 cm. Gross weight: 260 grams.
