Silver basket, Budapest, 1800

Silver basket with openwork bars from Pest (Budapest).

The basket has hand-sawn bars and a cable edge.

Hallmarked with the city hallmark of Pest (Budapest). This was used from ca. 1800 to 1810.

Provided with quality mark 13 which stands for 812/1000. No other marks present.

The bottom is engraved with a ducal crown with the initials M F.

The basket is solid and heavy with a weight of: 171.6 grams.

Dimensions: 14.5 x 10 x 4.5 cm.
