Silver tinder box with cord. This is also called a vesta case. There are a number of examples of such boxes, mainly from Russia. Don't happen that often. Dating approximately 1880 - 1900.
The cord was used to light several cigars or cigarettes.
The box has been inspected several times with a swan. This hallmark was used in France from 1893 onwards for imported pieces that were at least 800/1000 in quality and made in countries that were not part of an alliance.
