Silver spoon from Schleswig-Holstein (Germany) with a faceted garnet on the handle.

This was typical for this region and is also described in the book Antique Silver by Manfred Meinz (Image 207).

This spoon has the master mark E, which stands for the silversmith Erdmann from Wilster.

The following text is engraved on the back: von Fr. Anna Schütten zum Gvgs vds an Anna Cicila Stöwen 1830. (?)
