Silver spoon, F. de Booser, Groningen, 1729

18th century ^silver spoon by the silversmith Frederik de Booser from Groningen. He was active from 1722 to ca. 1753.

The spoon with an accolade-shaped handle is marked with the master mark FDB in contour and the date letter 6/E for 1729/1730.

The spoon bears the initials WD and RJH and was probably given as a wedding spoon.

The spoon has some signs of use consistent with its age.
