Silver spoon, Andries Vis, Amsterdam, 1767

^18th century silver spoon by the silversmith Andries Vis from Amsterdam. He was a master from 1741 to 1799. This silversmith was mainly specialized in cast spoons and chased teapots.

The spoon is hallmarked with the master hallmark fish, Amsterdam city hallmark, 1st grade hallmark, year letter H for 1767 and the tax hallmark V.

The spoon has the initials PP on the end of the handle.
