18th ^century silver spoon by the silversmith Anthony Durville from Groningen.

The spoon with an accolade-shaped handle is marked with the master mark ADV in contour and the date letter 5/S for 1719/1720.

The spoon is provided with the initials MM and was probably given as a birth spoon.

The spoon has some signs of use consistent with its age.
