Silver clot tongs with apostles, Schoonhoven, 19th century

Silver clot tongs with the apostles Peter (with key) and James (with book and staff) depicted on either side.

The pliers are marked HH, probably for the Fa. H. Hartman from Schoonhoven. Active from 1889 to 1910. Further tested with the 2nd quality mark.

Weight: 29.6 grams. Length: 12.5 cm.
