Silver chain with a silver pendant, made of a chain lock. The lock with jet is made by silversmith Jacobus de Haas from Kampen. Active from 1857 to 1912.
He was born in 1823, married Anna Maria Toenbreker in 1846 and had 2 children. He lived on the Muntplein from 1890. From 1896 to 1901 he worked in Meppel.
The silver clasp is provided with a cut jet and was worn during mourning.
The links of the chain have a diameter of 2 mm. The length of the chain is 55 cm. The pendant has a diameter of 2.2 cm.
The pendant is marked with master mark JH97 and the sword for 2nd grade silver.
