The T-bar carabiners have been approved with the WWC master mark of William Walter Cashmore. Also hallmarked with the walking lion for sterling silver and the year letter t for 1918.
The shield is hallmarked with the year letter t for 1918, first grade hallmark, city hallmark Birmingham (anchor) and master hallmark JWT from the silversmith JW Tiphaft, active from 1886.
